Yes this is a very sweet deal. I've already started seeing the credits post to my account as of this past week.
My QS is already my Everyday card, and I used it on Uber all the time ..... Now I love the card even more.... I take Uber sometimes twice a day, especially in the winter months. WAAAHHOOOOOO! Happy Dance.
Does anyone know if the UBER statement credits effectively increase the spend I need to hit my $500 for the $100 sign up bonus? IE, $500 spend, $50 uber credits, $450 bonus spend? Or will that still qualify as $500?

Good question... I would think it would still count for the $500, as the statement credits post later; they don't alter the amount of spend or the original transaction in any way.
Took advantage of my two free rides this weekend. Although I screwed up and accidentally cancelled one ride so I had to pay $5. Hopefully my 20% covers part of cancelled rides ![]()
Took uber today for the first time and thanks to the promotion, only $3.27 was charged to my capital one card. So I get 20% back on 3.27?? LOL

FYI my first two Uber rides were completely free.
My third one was charged $17.45, posted on Cap One QS on 15 June, and the 20% discount posted on 18 June. I didn't need to wait for the end of the cycle.
Oh for some of the other trips I used Lyft which was offering 5 free trips, each upto $20. Sadly I registered in Seattle and all the trips had to be used in Seattle and in June. I could use 4/5 only. But my first few rides with these cars have been good so far.
I don't like cap1 and I don't use uber, but this is a great deal.

Almost every topic on here has been discussed extensively. I don't know why you would discourage a new post. I for one, hadn't seen the info about Uber and I thank the OP for bringing it to my attention as I would have had not thought to search UBER.
Must say I agree. I never get it when people complain here bout others' posts. When I see a pos that is of no service to me, I just move on. I certainly don't read through it and proceed to complain about it.
