This is why i always let a balance post every 3 months in every card i got. They gave me credit so the least thing i can do is let them make some dollars out of me by letting them charge me interest in that balance.

I've got 20 bucks I can lend you so that you can pay me $25 back.
They are making their money on swipe fees, don't lose money on carrying balances.

Hey everyone
Just got off the phone with a credit analyst. CLD'd for two main reasons, excessive inq's (we've been mortgage shopping) and I guess they were freaked by a $15k personal loan that DW took out a couple of months ago. Credit analyst confirmed there have been no lates on these accounts, or any accounts on the reports. Analyst was friendly, but firm that the CLD's will remain at this time and will probably stay that way for 12-18 months. I tried pushing a little but they wouldn't budge. I asked if the CL's would be decreased further and was told "anything is possible"
FICO's between 700-715 all three pulled this morning by myself.
*shrugs* I feel kinda stupid now, I've been touting how great Chase has been to us for the past year; guess I'll be having some crow for dinner tonight.
