I've had Barclaycard report before they even shipped the card.

WOW, that was fast.     I will just hang on to it, use it for a small purchase and probably forget i have it for about 6 months and maybe use it just to keep it open for the less than 50% of cards with a balance fico rule. I do AZEO, so its not really an issue either way

Hope it's not the Gold Master Card, $995 AF is a little on the high side.

1. Melt card

2. Extract gold

3. ???

4. Profit!

Now you don't even have to worry about SDing the card since it's not there anymore! Smiley LOL

If you never activate a card, would it still report?    I have a bit of apping remorse (late night boredom) and starting to realize i dont need it at all.  I know i already took the HP, but i dont really need it either..

If it helps at all, when I added my $500 Pier1 card (my only store card), I got a FICO boost from "very good" to "exceptional" on the credit mix part.  Even though I only use it to buy a new serving bowl or something every 3 months, this little card has been very beneficial.  Maybe your Gamestop can do that for you.

Sorry it will report. ☹️ I’m curious what card it was but you don’t have to say if you don’t want to.

Its the gamestop at the end of my sig.   i honestly have no idea why, but i did..   only thing i can figure is i'm mostly at the point where i just have to let it all age, but i have been so focus on building that this waiting feels like i'm not working on it anymore.

Take a break from the forums. 😉 I had to when I was supposed to be in the garden and I applied for the Amazon and care credit, and AARP in September. I forgot about applying for cards for four months and lost the desire to apply anytime soon, got to get my accounts to age and get all their credit limits up! 😊😊

Only use it if you want the game though...

Use it once every few months, PIF and sock drawer it. Minus well use it to help your overall utilization.
