Received my Amex Platinum Card

So much to my dismay, I got my upgraded card like this in the mail a few days ago. The AU card was flawless. It may seem petty, but I sent for a replacement as I'm very careful with my cards and was a bit disappointed by the lack of quality control. Would you have kept it or sent it back?

I hate to admit it but I'd do the same thing, and have.

I would've sent that back as well. I understand wear and tear once the card is in my possession but to have it come in like that would be no bueno to me.

That "new" card looks horrible. You did the right thing.

Just give them a call and they will overnight you a new card and an envelope to send the damaged one back.

Looks like the mailmen decided to play fancy me on their lunch break then resealed it back up If i got my card like that id demand my five fiddy back Chilli's...

It doesn't even "ting" like the Ritz card. Lol I don't know which disappointed me more the scratches or the muffled sound it made when I did a test drop (after I saw the scratches).

The new one's coming tomorrow. I forgot I'd have to send it back for disposal. Lucky I didn't destroy it myself. Lol

It does indeed seem like the Plat is a combination of metal and plastic mixed together.
