Received my Barclays card in the mail today and it included a blank check.

Can I use the check to pay off my kohl's card in store?

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Review the terms of your BT that should have come with the check/card. Also, make sure that you continue to make any required payments to Kohls until you have verified the BT check was received by Kohls.

The 0% promo will apply, but check to see if there's a fee, such as "min $5 or 3% of the amount."  Also, while this isn't necessary, I'd prefer to write the check payable to yourself, deposit it into your checking account, then issue a payment to Kohls using your personal check or billpay.
