They are sending them out everywhere at the moment. My wife & I both got one & were already with Discover.

I'm still active duty, 13 years now and still having fun! I went through a nasty divorce and left NFCU but have just reopened my accounts! NFCU gave me 5k on the N rewards card and USAA started me at 3k MC. Just moved my direct deposit to NFCU so I'm hoping for a nice cli soon. I really wish I would've found these forums earlier, they would've helped me so much!
thank you so much everyone!

Congrats on the approvals. Also keep in mind that most banks are very friendly to service members. For example Chase and US Bank will give you high tier checking and savings account with the fee's permanently waived. These will give you addition perks with their corresponding credit cards. Also, it will get you stuff like checks and safety deposit boxes either free or discounted. Thank you for your service.
US Bank waives the fee on this:

Chase waives the fee on this:

I think most banks will offer some kind of fee waiver. So if you ever need a checking account with a bank for any reason. Be sure to tell them you are in the military and see what they can offer.
