If you're looking to amass MR points, you would only need the Amex Blue Business Plus (no AF) for the non-category spend. If you don't want to tinker with Business cards, you can go for the Everyday Preferred ($95 AF).
If your goal is cashback, then you may want to get the Platinum Schwab to get higher redemption value for MR points. But ultimately, you would have a very expensive cashback system.
Yeah, you're looking to "get cards just to get cards and SUBs". And we STILL don't know what your full lineup is, other than you mentioned that other cards exist.
I really think you should forget the whole idea unless you can clarify things a lot more.
