I have had my IT card since November with a 500 dollar limit. I got the refer a friends 50 dollar. After I direct deposited the 50 dollars and use the card once for a parking meter ($1) and once at the gas station for windshield wiper fluid ($3) it was socked drawed lol. I got an auto CLI to $750 which is not anything special and not worth putting back in my wallet when I use the freedom, gold, and barclay cards which have much higher limits. Is there a way to recon an auto CLI. If it's a hard pull it can stay where it is. It's a student card by the way. That may be holding it back. At the same time GE upped my lowes card for 1500 to 6000 and ebay from 2000 to 3500. My utilization is around 7 percent. No baddies 34k in credit. FICO's all in 700+
From my limited personal experience discover is pretty random when it comes to auto cli and sp cli in general. You can go onto your discover account and there is an option to ask for sp cli or you can call number on back of your card and use their automated system to ask for sp cli. If they want to transfer you to a specialist that usually means it will require an HP. Good luck
Discover has consistantly auto CLI'd my IT card since I opened it last year with a limit of $10k. After 3 of them it's now at $13.5 after a year.
