Recon

If you recon once and are denied, should you try again? Or is it over and done at that point on your app? I'm thinking about giving it a second shot with Barclays for the USairways card.

Re: Recon

2 with Barclay I think is what you can get... unlike some banks, Barclay actually records down everytime you call and I have been told I see you talked to someone on this date at this time but I can look it over for you for a second recon.

Re: Recon

Mail letters rather than calling. I've been successful with this method and so have many others. You have nothing to lose.

I apped for the Apple and was instant approved, but was not happy with the CL, so I called once, nothing, twice, nothing, and the third call was the charm, the guy I spoke with was very nice and granted me a CLI.

This my be a YMMV type of thing.

You are correct, every time I called I was told "I see you spoke to (blank) on (blank) date and time" They note to your account every time you call.

Sorry to hear that Smiley Sad

Use the cards, pay them on time, and try again in 6 months, but it will be a hard pull for a CLI request.

Best of Luck!

Re: Recon

Bummer, sorry to hear that you didn't get approved ~ but the good news is that there isn't any deragatory information holding you back such as late payments, etc..

I'm sure you will be approved after a few more months !
