Rewards Program

So do you guys put most of your spendings in one rewards program?

Or do you guys like to scatter the spending among different rewards programs?

I put almost all of my spendings in the Chase UR programs.

Cards: CSP 6k, Chase Freedom 6k, BCP 7.5k, Sallie Mae 8.9k, Discover 5k, BOFA Better Rewards 3.8k

Re: Rewards Program

Chase UR is by far my favortie.  Actually Capital One on my Spark Miles card is really good as well.

Re: Rewards Program

I mainly use both BoA and SDFCU, mainly because they are easy cards to use in England (where I currently live).  I have yet to pay interest on either of them, but if something came up and I was planning on making a large purchase that I didn't want to PIF, SDFCU would be my go to card due to its extremely low interest rate.  This month, I use SDFCU for gas, since it's 3x points.  I also use SDFCU for 6x points on my iTunes purchases.  BoA is 1.5 points on everything, and is very easy to get statement credits for my myriad travel-related purchases, so that card gets nearly everything else.  Occasionally, I use my military STAR card for gas when they are doing a 10 or 15 cents discount per gallon promotion (this happens around the end of the year).

Amex ED $19.5k - BoA Travel Rewards $15k - CSP $5k - SDFCU EMV $15k - NFCU goRewards $20k - Barclays Arrival $6.5k

Re: Rewards Program

The vast majority of my spend is within the UR program; it's just cleaner that way since everything can be pooled together and UR happens to be the best credit card program out there IMO. I'll only use non-UR cards if they're offering >5% cash back equivalent.

Re: Rewards Program

UR's my default but I tend to use whatever has maximum rewards for the category I'm spending in.

Re: Rewards Program

I go for whatever gives me the most.

I use Citi and Barclays the most because that's where most of my spending is. Citi for Restaurants and Barclays for anything that isn't gas, groceries, entertainment, or anything on a Chase Freedom revolving category.

It's complicated, and takes effort. But I love reaping the rewards.

In My Wallet: Amex BCP (12/12) $50,000, Chase Freedom (12/12) $16,500, Cap1 Quicksilver (6/12) $14,000, Barclaycard Rewards (5/13) $10,500, Citi Prestige (4/16) $30,000

Re: Rewards Program

For groceries - BCP. Everything else - UR points but I have been digging the shopDiscover rewards for cash back on large purchases. 👍
