Re: Ritz Carlton Approval

I remember them stating that internet costs in flight do count. When I've called in, they have never asked what the charges are for. They just see that it was billed by the airline and ask if that is the charge I want reimbursed.

+1. This is exactly how it works. I just gave them the date, airline and a rough dollar amount. It was reflected online within 2-3 days.

Nice, sounds pretty painless.

Also looks like AU's are free and have access to the $200.

AU has access to the $200 as long as the primary calls in, right?

It took about 60 seconds on the phone, which was very quick.

I haven't tried the AU access to $200, but I'd guess it's something similar to the Amex plat how they share the pool of credit amongst all AUs.

Yes. According to the terms, the AU can't make the call. Not sure if they would be picky about that.

All of the phone numbers I've gotten in regard to the card have been great. No hold times and directly to knowledgeable reps.

Au definitely has access to $200. My AU uses it for lots of cocktails on long business trips! I was also able to get the Lounge Club for the AU as well. That's a lot of free booze on these trips.

The Concierge staff are also very nice and seem like they're just dying for you to give them something to do.
