Hi folks. I'm about to check out of a Starwood property. award stay but need to pay for incidentals.
I'm Starwood gold via Amex plat.
Do I pay for incidentals and food vis Amex SPG and get 2x SPG x2 or use citi prestige and get 3x TYP.
Citi clearly has better fx rate vis WEMC
My balances are
86k SPG
~130k TYP
It's not a huge amount. Prob under $300 but I am OCD so here to get some input
I'm leaving towards SPG because I feel they're worth more. I tend to get 3 cents value for them BUT I may not burn them all before the hammer falls with Marriott. I've stopped using the SPG card completely since the takeover was announced.
