SUB PAR CARDS

I have 3 sub par cards I took out before my chpt 13 was over----2 have 300 cl-1 has 400 cl, and all have a AF--75-75-99

Oldest one is 11 months--I have a few better cards with NO AF---so can I close thos 3 and not have a big hit on my score, or how do I go about getting rid of them if I call and they wont waive the AF?......I need experienced advice

Re: SUB PAR CARDS

Those sub prime cards seem to be a neccesary evil when you start out rebuilding. i just closed 3 cards in the last 3 months, 300, 300, and 1050. all 3 cards not only had an annual fee but starting in september they had monthly fees. i recently started getting better cards like discover so i closed those 3. some people like the secured card route, to each his own. i dont think my credit scores were dinged a little or at all after i closed those 3 cards, maybe because their limits were so low.
