SYNCHRONY CLOSE ALL MY ACCOUNT

Hello everyone, i just got an alert that synchrony close all my account at the same time and just call them and they said that my credit is at high risk and they cant reverse it, i have around $85000 of available credit and 2% utilization.

rooms to go  $25000

city furniture $20000

brandsmart   $10000

pay pal mc    $6500

please any help with this, any recon line or is this just happening with them, thanks.

They have been dropping the hammer lately.  How are your scores?  Any high balances on other cards, etc?

Very sorry to hear about the closures. Sync is doing this to tons of people and I seriously doubt that a recon will produce a reversal. I'm glad that you have joined us in the myFico community and there is a lot of info here which will hopefully help with your next credit steps. I know this must feel really terrible right now but you definitely will be better without them in the future.

EX 751 - EQ 763 - TU 768  and my credit utilization is really low, cap1 is the only one at 18%, but you are right i heard that they are acting like that for sometime now, the funny thing is that the just gave me the paypal mc 2 days ago, now my accounts are close and i have a new inq for the next 2 years.

Sorry to hear of your closures OP. The loss of $85k is certainly a blow to the profile. I too lost $100k (see sig) right before the pandemic and all hit. It will sting for a little while but you will bounce back. Wait on your letter in the mail for a more detailed explanation, or at least what they want you to hear.

As you can see from that thread, you're far from alone.

Sorry to hear about the closures. The only common denominator I've seen in these closures was high exposure. 85K would qualify. I haven't seen too many Synchrony closures with say a 10K exposure, unless the card hasn't been used in a long time.

Sorry to hear of the acount closures.

To clarify, you have $85k of remaining CL after these closures, or a total of $85k including the list of $61k that just got closed?
