Is it $250 total on gas and groceries combined, or $250 on gas and $250 on groceries separately?

Yep, separately. Don't forget the bookstores (i.e. Amazon) capped at $750!

It's seperate. Which is good because until the recent drops in gas prices, it was very easy to approach the gas cap even with average amounts of driving! It was costing me $50 a week to fill up.

No kidding. I drive ~2200 miles a month. Luckily I have a fuel efficient car. I just need a good gas card.

I have a gas guzzling SUV with a 26 gallon tank. I used to have the problem that gas stations would only put a hold for $75 or $100 and the pump would cut off before I could fill my tank. Lower gas prices are nice.

To OP, yes gas and groceries are separate.
