@oracles wrote:can you tell me what are your starting limits for people who have this card?
thanks
Mine was 6.3k when I got it. My average line was about 15k. My lowest line was 5k and highest non-NPSL line was 50k. FICO scores were in the 740+ range. New accounts/inquiries were both very high at the time I got the Sallie Mae (probably 10+ new accounts, 60+ overall reporting accounts, and 5-7 inquiries per CR) because it was during a mini app spree towards the end of my crazy application days. Given my income/profile, the line was extremely low. But given my new accounts, inquiries, and barclay's dislike for those, my line makes sense. I also got a crazy high interest rate over 20% (probably due to new accounts/inquiries).

My other thread was more of a situation, this more of a direct question.
would you like to contribute effectively to this thread.
thanks in advance

Thanks random for your response
my scores are over 800 and I don't have any inquires on my reports for at least a year.
im just curious as to if they are strict on credit limits.
i currently have a Barclay rewards card with a 31k limit but that may mean nothing nowadays lol
Sallie Mae gave me $2,500, however I closed my rewards card and moved the CL over since Sallie also gave me 13.9% APR.

I agree..you can always move limits with them if the limit is too low. You can make that SM card whatever you with the ability to move limits around. Best of luck.
My initial limit on my Sallie Mae was $1500. I was initially denied. I had to recon to get approved.
$10000 with 13.99% interest.
