Sam's Mastercard...have you got yours?

Has anyone received their Sam's Mastercard in the mail yet? I got notification that my account was switched over back on June 23rd. I've been watching the mailbox and still no card. Have they just not mailed them out yet or should I call? Thanks

I think they said it may take up to the end of August. The answer to your question no. It doesn't really matter the rewards took effect June 19th.

I got mine two weeks ago. I was the first one got the new card. The card is cheap and ugly look with EMV Chip.

not, yet was even hit by the glitch in their system, where they wanted me to enter the 3 digit number off the back of a card I didn't have, to login into the account, had to make an automated phone payment, annoying to say the least, but that has been resolved.

I dont have the Sams but do have the Walmart version.

My biggest concern is what happens when we activate the new card. Does anyone know if it is a new TL?

I know my Walmart Store card closed and a new TL appeared for the Discover. I do NOT want the Discover to close and have a another new TL for the MC. I'll close it first since I can't afford the AAoA hit at this time. Plus, bigger fish planned in the future but I must keep things calm for a while longer.

So if anyone knows for sure please let us know!!

I'll keep it if the TL remains and olny updates acount number etc.

It shouldn't show up as a new TL, they have recently changed names, with no new TL, the account number change should go as smoothly,verified by both Credit Karma and MyFico...

I'll just keep a watch out for mine in the mail. It has already changed on my credit reports and it was not a new TL. The only GE account that went to a new tradeline was when I was upgraded to the Old Navy Visa from the store card.
