Well since GW letters have worked for lates. I thought I would try one for our citibank card. We had the universal default rate on it. On the statement last month, it said that they were dropping the interest on new purchases and cash advances. However, we are still stuck with universal default on our old balance. So, I sent a gw letter requesting the interest rate be reduced to the current interest rate for new purchases on the existing balances. Hope it works.
