The other week i bought some stuff at Wal-Mart online starting from the discover deals link, and then paid with my amex (because I had another bonus for Walmart) . Got my bonus from both cards (only the email from discover for now, not the actual cash)

They are not the ones that accept the card, the merchant does, and the portal tracks the purcahse and gives you money. Doesn't even need a "proper" card ,I use them with for example Petco gift cards (to buy stuff from Petco of course!) and it works well.

But don't think I've ever used a blue card with them.
