Should I app for a card I dont want? I'm afraid my hot streak will end.

I've recently been approved for some great prime cards.

I have stopped though because I want to garden and let my accounts age.

Should I apply for more prime cards now while my credit is good?

I know this sounds a little crazy. Maybe after years of hearing "denied" I dont feel like I deserve the "approved" responses I've been getting.

I've just recently stepped out of subprime territory and part of me almost feels like it might be a fluke and I should apply for all the subprime cards now before the powers that be (whoever that is) finds out.

Is there any reason you need another card?

If you just got some good cards, sounds like the best thing for you would be to wait.

However I know what the urge feels like lol.

Re: Should I app for a card I dont want? I'm afraid my hot streak will end.

I apped for and got:

Citi Divident - $3K

AMEX Zync - NPSL
AMEX Blue - $3K

US Bank Platinum  Visa - $4k

I wonder if I should go for the Chase.

The only thing is that I dont want to anger Barclays or Amex with too many inquiries AND I might want to try to take advantage of an introductory offer later.  I just dont know.  Chase is the last piece that I'm missing.

EX FICO was 699 according to Citi (didnt get best terms - 15.99 APR) and FAKOS have been in range from 690 to 705.

I'd hold off on Chase. What's the point of opening another account? Do you need it? I just wouldn't risk another HP. You might get denied due to already having the other 4 new accounts. Chase is funny.

As of 2017, rebuilding...

No don't apply for Chase yet. You've got 2 awsome cards in Citi and Amex BCE.  Both are cli friendly, use your BCE as much as you can so you can take advantage of that 61 day cli and hopefully youll get to 9k.  Citi like to give cli's as well.  Wait on Chase if you app now you most likely will get a 1k limit if you do get in based on little history with new cards.  Wait a while then go to Chase to improve you opening CL with them.  If I were you I would garden you got some awesome card, G.L.

I agree with all of the above, if you are gardening and don't need more credit, why take the HP and hit on your AAoA? It looks like you have a great portfolio of cards just getting out of sub-prime territory, I would just resist the urge and keep gardening! Your score will go up as long as you're repsonsible and then when you need more credit, you will have the pick of whatever card you want!

+1 on the waiting.

with those cards and good history you should be golden for any cards you want. especially once the inq's age off your reports.
