Wait on apping for anything else. I would use the AX as much as you can..(PIF of course) After your second statment cuts for the Blue(61 days ish) you can ask for a 3x cli and then it will be over the magic 5k mark. I personally see no reason to app for a Chase card unless it does tricks your others ones won't and you NEED it. If you just WANT it, wait a while and let these cards grow a bit. *disclaimer, my chase card is sitting in the sock drawer... along with my hsbc. both have lower limits (starter cards) and they just fertilize my garden
