Should I ask for a CLI?

I just got approved for the Amazon Prime Store Card Last night. SL is $2000. Should I ask for a CLI immediately? And if so which number do I call? Thanks Fico Fam

I applied for the Amazon Prime Signature Visa and approved for 5k, when I logged on my limit was 6.3k

I’ve read that the automated system has a max approval display amount when in turn you may have been approved for more.

If this didn’t happen, I wouldn’t expect a CLI. However, if you’re in a dice rolling mood, “COME ON 7 WITH YO FUNKY A—“!

That only happens with the Chase Amazon Prime Visa.  The Synchrony store card, I believe, what you see is what you get.  You may be able to get a CLI if you ask, but you'll probably have to wait a few months.

Usually 3 months before they may give a cli , ymmv of course.

Sounds like a bad idea to me.  Use the card and build your track record first, then request a credit line increase.

I don't think I would poke the bear on this one either. Get some history and then go for it. I maybe would try if there was more data to support that it is like a 50/50 shot, but I don't think that is the case on this one.
