Should I close my credit cards?

I'll play the devil's advocate here.

I like to keep one bank card open that is in my name alone.  Since OP's Chase is a joint account, my two cents is to keep one of the bank cards that are in OP's name only open.  Either the CapOne or the HSBC - whichever has the best chances of growing - if only so slightly - in the next year or two until OP can get a good CL bank card in their own name.

allright, i closed the AF(First premier) CC and HSBC CC.

I will buy my report again next month and see whether my FICO going to be up or down.
