You should stop now and start the garden process

Any idea how many HP's Chase did?

Cap1 did 3 no doubt.

And do not try Amex

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Why do you think capital one didn't accept me? Short AAoA? Why not american express? Im not trying to undermine your answers, Im new to this stuff so I just want to learn more about credit card company tendencies etc.

By all means ask questions to increase your knowledge it's the people that don't ask we worry about Smiley Wink

Amex because in my honest opinion you won't be approved yet certainly not for any of there relvolvers

Yes your AAoA is very short and if you use the cards you have now you stand a better chance of approval with all lenders after 6 months of history

I also posted on your other thread that the 7-10 day message doesn't always mean denial with CAP1 so keep the faith

So you got chase and will need to follow up on cap1?
Apply for American Express BCE or prefer BCP over costco and use it at costco!

Yea I got chase and need to follow up (potentially recon) on capital one. I dont like the BCP because the annual fee, but do you think I should take the BCE over the costco true earnings?

If costco rewards make more sense then do that. Go apply in store tomorrow.

Re: Should I go for Chase Freedom and Capital One Quicksilver?

Yes Ive had a costco membership for over a year, and I found out my limit is 2000 with the amex! This is awesome! Here's my new situation, Im 21, will be graduating college in june 2015. I wont have a decent income until then, because as of now I just work part time. Aside from paying in full (including payments every few days) and on time each month, what else can I do to increase my credit score by June 2015. I HIGHLY doubt Ill have anymore inquries until then. I suppose Ill be gardening. Anything else I can do? Is it okay if I don't use a card for a couple months, or should I make a purchase with it? how much should that purchase be?

Amex True Earnings= 2000$ (Nov 2013)
BOA AU= 4500$ (2009)

BOA Cash Rewards= 1500$ (Aug 2013)

Chase Freedom= 2500$ (Nov 2013)

(Waiting on Capital One Quicksilver)
