Re: So how many CCs you got in 2015?

2 this year.  Discover and Amazon Prime.

Will try for 2 this time next year.  Chase Sapphire Preferred and American Express Everyday Preferred.  Then I think I'm done

Delta with Amex
Sapphire preferred with chase

I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be applying for any cc anytime soon (next year) unless there is one with a really really good bonus or cash back %

Re: So how many CCs you got in 2015?

As others mentioned, 2015 was my best year yet as well. I am not one to apply for new credit cards as I already have a variety of basic credit cards from over the years but I thought it was time to take it to the next level.

I unwittingly began my app spree in July - see the order below:

  • Cap One QuickSilver - $6K
  • Chase Freedom- $2K
  • Amex Platinum (with Pay Later option) - NPSL
  • Amex Preferred Rewards Gold - NPSL
  • Chase Sapphire Preferred - $9K
  • Amex SPG - $2k
  • Discover IT - $6.5K

Smiley Very Happy

I guess I'll be gardening for a while, unless I decide to pull the trigger on a Citi card (Prestige or Thank you Preferred). Smiley Wink

Just 1 - the Hyatt Visa, and only for the great sign up offer.

There hasn't been anything this year that's made me feel the need to leave the garden. Hopefully there will be stronger offerings in 2016.

Citi keeps calling my name for the three main TY cards.

Chase is wagging a finger at me "all those Freedom UR points don't go anywhere without CSP".

At Golden1 I have a very active checking account this year... just in case.

Secured cards with PenFed and SDFCU are also setting the table for possible future apps, but I no longer know why.
