I agree Dexter. I know the rules of the forum are pretty strict, but of course the website and host has to be protected. I don't fully understand it either since the links themselves are pretty open and it does not seem like it's illegal or anything. In any case thanks..definitely helped out.
Now another question - if I pull my report a lot...and I mean daily and have all these softs on there...does that hurt in anyway? Will my file split or something. i've heard somewhere that it can. Also I see RJM Aquisitions softs me every 2 weeks for last 6 months but I never heard anything from them. How do I go about making sure they don't do it or stop it.
do you mean softs using a credit monitering service?
if you use the right combination you can "bump" some of the older inquiries out of the way.
im not sure if we wanna walk down this conversation though, not sure if that's a thin line and havent read that part of the forum rules

Bumping inquiries is unethical and violates the forums.User Guidelines, Terms of Service & Credit Repair Discussion Guidelines because it games the system by avoiding legitimate activity on your reports.
ETA this part of the CRDG: The only credit repair discussions allowed in FICO Forums are ones that exchange information on how to correct or remove real errors from your credit report – not accurate information that you want to get rid of because it may be negatively affecting your credit score.
From a BK years ago to:

"Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they've made a difference. The Marines don't have that problem".
I don't even think that is possible. Softs do not count towards anything and softs cannot bump hard inquiries as far as I'm aware...does not matter though..don't have too many anyway and it seems like it's not something that is legit..LOL..
OH CRAP
ok you can delete that post, i dont think i can do that myself

I know this is an old thread but I was looking over my soft pulls today and noticed that there were 2 soft pulls (one yesterday and one the day before) from the same company - RJM Aquisitions. This has me concerned cause I do not know of any debts that they could be collecting on. I saw where you were getting soft pulls from them as well and was just curious if you ever saw anything come of it. Thanks!
Yeah they softed me and I got a debt that they sent me on an old Charter One bank account from 2004. It is now way out of SOL and out of CRTP and I just sent them a letter stating that I don't believe they say I owe what they say I do, however since it is outside of SOL and too old for CRTP to cease and desist and not to ever contact me about this anymore..havent heard a peep from them.
OK...I will just have to wait and see what comes of it I suppose. Thanks!
