Sometimes I just have to laugh at how merchants assign their MCC codes.

Recently I made an online purchase of a nutritional supplement. I used my Savor hoping it would code as grocery( as many of these types of purchases do), so I could get 3% back. It coded as Internet Smiley Frustrated Well, shortly after the purchase, I received an email from the company stating they would be increasing prices soon, so I decided to call them to add onto my order. I used my QS for this second order, figuring that's better than 1%, right? Well, I just looked, and the second order coded as Grocery. You've got to be kidding me, oy vey!

Dontcha hate that Capital One blocks those types of stores from getting the 3%?  Same with Target and Walmart, only 1% back. When the Savor gave 2% back for groceries I would get 2% at SuperTarget. I loved that, was sad to see it go with the 3% upgrade.
