Holy crap that’s quite a lot of options they’re looking at!

Last time I checked though, Capital One was treating Sony the same as PlayStation with no credit limit increases.

Also their points program is messy at best.

Some of them aren't too bad. At $0.01/pt, you're talking about up to 10% depending on category.

My last increase was 7 months ago.

The point structure for both sucks. It's especially worse because you have to print out a form to get your 5x points for Sony purchases. That needs to go with the revamp.

Ok, even with a triple pull?  Smiley Very Happy  Last I recall, Sony & PS cards had similar 3-HP criteria like their core CCs.

My PlayStation card was a single pull. That was May of last year.

More recent (2019) DPs by some applicants cited 3.  Though, results will vary I'm sure.

The print form was ultimately why I canceled my PlayStation card last year.

Sony charges MSRP on most things they have in the catalog which wipes out a lot of point value versus a straight cash back card and buying elsewhere. That’s my big complaint about the points program.

I figured that might be the case which is why I added the date of my approval.

FWIW, my 2016 approval was indeed only a single HP. They pulled EQ IIRC.

Same for my GM BuyPower Card approval from July 2016 using EQ.

Re: Sony Card Revamp

If this was Sony from the 90s, I'd be all over these cards.

Why not now? They still make the best TVs. Their 950G is stomping even the OLEDs. If you're a gamer, you can't deny the popularity of the PS4 even if you're an Xbox fanboy.

Haha, sure Finny. I have always enjoyed Sony products especially their headphones. Im just not a fsn of Apple and what sometimes comes off as a superiority complex. Not everyone but its there lol.  In reality i wouldnt app a 3 pull card unless it was for an Nba card to get my favorite teamSmiley Wink
