I received the Sportsman's Guide Visa Pre Approved popup, while shopping on the site. Gave my last 4 Digits of SSN, Income etc.. accepted and it gave me a error message. Called Customer Service, and they said it was on their end, try later etc... Tried again and same error message.
Sportsman's Cust Service is terrible, finally got them to tell me how to get to a live agent at Comenity bank, which is impossible to do if not a customer already.
Hit, #0 , to bypass automated system at Comenity 800 number is the trick.
Wanted to make sure I got no hard pulls or two different vis accounts. The guy at Comenity was actually pretty sharp. He told me nothing went thru and that Sportsman's site is awful and always has tech problems. Also said pre approved mailers are soft pulls, but the pop up now is a hard pull.
