Re: Home Credit US Closure

Sorry to hear about this but for FICO8 oldest card card closing is irrelevant.

They came in hard and fast and flew too close to the sun. iirc their parent company is a Czech bank. I wonder if the whole operation is going under or just the CC.

By now all holders of the Sprint Visa cards and Home Credit Visa card got an email late last night saying that their cards will be suspended as of midnight central time, March 17, 2020. If you haven't gotten that email, here is a link to the FAQ they posted on their website.

Re: Home Credit US Closure

Got this email, too. My card has a $5200 limit that I used for padding, ugh.

Wonder why it's closing. More information would've been helpful...

I would guess this has more to do with the T-Mobile/Sprint merger. T-Mobile was most likely not interested.

AOD FCU VS. BBVA CP. Cap One: QS, SavorOne, VentureOne, Walmart. Discover it CB. DSNB: Bloomies Amex, Macy's Amex. NFCU: cR VS, Plat MC, Plat Visa, CLOC. SECU MD VS. Sync: Amazon, eBay MC, Lowe's, PP MC, PPC. WF Propel Amex. Misc: Overstock, Target.
Last 6 mos added a few deposit accounts. Ongoing: SP CLI's. Next: Combine and/or close 2-3 accts by eoy. Goal for 2021: PLOCs! And hopefully adding a few business accounts.

[06/20] Scores: 700s. Util: 3-5%. Inq: TU 9, EX 7, EQ 11. AAoA=6y9m, AoOA=33y0m, AoYA=1m.
$200k GOAL Met !! TCL=$250k. Extend thru CLI's over 1-2yrs: 250-300k.
