Square Credit Card Transactions

Has anybody used "Square" to accept credit card payments to and from yourself or to your own business ?

 

I know there is a 2.75% swipe fee.

 

When would it make sense to use this for rewards or min spend ?

 

Just thinking.

You need to read your t and c very carefully. I know Amex specifically excludes mobile payment systems from earning rewards. I suspect others do as well.
In wallet: Ink Plus 10k, AMEX TE 25k. In bag: CSP 16k, USAA WMC 15k, Hyatt 13k, United MPE 12k, AMEX HHonors 3k. In SD: Cap 1 QS 5k, Discover IT 7k. FICO 08 says my EQ is now 844, was 510 in 2010.
