Chatted with an online rep and was able to get my Venture One PC'd to the Quiksilver. Since my Venture is newer, I decided it'd be better to consolidate that one into the older tradeline when they're eligible, and keep the 0% APR promo. I'm glad the process was quick and painless.

That's awesome! It's good to hear they are being easy to deal with!
CONGRATS & YES typically PC's from Cap1 are painless.
Wouldn't that be considered a downgrade? Did it effect your credit limit at all?

The VentureOne only gives 'miles' valued at 1.25% cash back, while the Quicksilver cards give 1.5% "straight" cash back, so the Quicksilver is considered by many folks here to be an 'upgrade' over the VentureOne.
I definitely agree that the QS is a better card than the Venture One, but I think in Capital One's eyes they are about the same. I think they both can start around $3k and both are issued as VS with $5k limits.
You know what i wonder. If it will end up affecting his 'top' possible credit limit on the card. Would the Venture card have a high Maximum Credit limit then the Quicksliver?

All we can do is guess, but there are a few folks on here with some massive Quicksilver accounts...
