Re: Suddenly, I have a Juniper Barnes and Noble MC!

oooh, I'm jealous.... B&N....  But NO - I will not be apping.  Maybe, just maybe, I'll get Carnival paid to 0 and call to ask them to change to B&N card.  Those rewards would actually motivate me to keep it open.  Even if it was a tiny limit.  I'd be ok with that.

Thanks! I'm loving the 5% thing.

By the way, I was a good girl, and I've already updated WGMC.

And you don't need to buy books on how to improve your credit.

Must be card specific. I just get an offer to give TC $15 bucks a month!

I don't see it either. I'm also looking at B&N MC account via website.

A very FAKO FAKO, indeed!

So Sylvia, cheddar, and Timothy (and anyone else with the free useless score) what cards do you have? Are they just the straight Visa or MC, not linked to gasoline or bookstores or whatever?

That's a VERY nice CL, especially in this day and age! Smiley Surprised

I have some very vague and unformed ideas swishing around about the differences among co-branded store/ bank cards, straight store cards, and straight bank cards, so I'm collecting random bits of info.

Actually, I have some very vague and unformed ideas about many things, including where the checkbook for the HELOC has wandered off to... Smiley Happy

LOLOL! I know what you mean!

And yes, that's a fantastic rate, but they did this deliberately to me, by giving me a $400 cl! Smiley Very Happy

Mine is also a no frills Juniper Visa, (used to be with a great APR) but they followed AMEX in giving me a CLD and increased my APR. Smiley Sad

Sorry to hear Cheesy. Smiley Sad

Seems like both have a reputation for CLD's.
