Switching from Slate to Freedom

After studying the benefits of the Chase Freedom I have decided to submit a request to PC my Slate Card.  HOpefully Chase will let me do it.  Will update in a few hours.

I like the 5% current cashback on gas category.

Other than this it seems both the Slate and Freedom offer the same benefits.

They may tell you to app. Then you may need to recon and transfer the CL. I had to app from a Chase Flexible Rewards Visa to a Chase Freedom Rewards Mastercard. They had me app and then recon. It worked and I even got the 15 months 0% BT and the $100 promo.

Re: Switching from Slate to Freedom

How long have you had the Chase Flexible Rewards prior to PCing?

My understanding is that only the SLATE offers $0 BT fee.  Other BT products offer 0% BT but there is often a 3% transfer fee. This is what concerns me most at this point.
