I got one of these in the mail today. The only Synchrony Card that I own is the Amazon store card. I have a Citi Double Cash so I don't know if I really need another 2% cash back card.
I just got this today. Was kind of surprised really, I've never received an offer from SYNCH for the whole time I've held the Walmart MC.
Now the same month that portfolio goes to Cap1, I get a mailer for this card with those exact same terms. Coincidence?
While it is a mild temptation, I'll keep my cool and not apply. I've still got 5 months to let 6 accounts to age past 24 months, so that I can be considered for that darn INK Preferred! If I wasn't saving myself for a Chase slot, i would seriously consider it though!
Someone on DoC figured out how to get the application with no invite by messing with the URL. I highly doubt that this would have any intro offers though.

The fact that it does allow you pass without a prescreened offer is a good sign for this going public sooner rather than later though.

Hey @Anonymous did you notice the note on sharing your location may help increase your odds of a higher limit? So looks like snother dp on how Sync or other lenders may determine limits given. Im sure once they see PR, id end up with a - $300 starting limit
Where did you see that?
ETA: Nevermind, I see it. I didn't actually look at the app earlier, I just confirmed the terms were for the right card and clicked off so I wouldn't app.
That's an interesting one.

Indeed. Maybe if you live in a high income area, SodaSoPa, you get a bigger limit as opposed to livin in Kennys House
Or it's just a way for them to verify that you're actually applying from the address on your credit report? That would actually be a nice way to have additional fraud protection.
I am curious to see but not curious enough to leave the garden, especially with no SUB offer.

I would guinea pig it but like you said no sub so better to lay lowplus would they approve someone already with a ppmc?
Yes they would. They have been targeting people who have the PPMC. Addie was the first one to report getting the letter and she has PPMC.

+1
And it's redundant, to have another 2% card but the PPMC is a true 2% cash back though. 🤷🏽♀️
