Re: Synchrony Bank and CL Increases

I got my TJX increased immediately after approval from calling Credit Solutions. $1800 to $6k. Walmart has been increased a few times (same method) from $1500 to $18k. Walmart I asked every 4-6 months. No secret formula, just kept asking for $25k. I rarely use it any longer and have quite a bit of exposure with Synchrony across various cards so I haven't pushed it any more.

I agree not to use  the increase credit line feature on the website. My sync cards, walmart, amazon, and jcp are a little over a year old. Never got any increases until I used the back door number.  Increases were substantial through them. Good luck

I used the chat to get CLIs on my JCP and Walmart cards a little over 3 months ago. The rep asked if I used the button and suggested that I try that first. It didn't go through but I did receive decent increases after I told him that. Planning to try again this weekend. Going to start following the "aim high" guideline Smiley Happy

Not suer if they will be auto CLI to amounts you would want. Best is to call in and request what you want.

My 4th statement on my eBates Visa cut a couple days ago. Hit the CLI button, no joy.

Did your spend warrant an increase?

Not even close. It has a $5K limit and I've spent about $150 on it since I got it. Smiley LOL

Sounds like a sound decision then. No offense, but CLI's are for people who spend money.

Lil tweetie bird told me, Lol! 5K is a solid limit for that card unless you are buying to resell and pocketing the 'bates.
