Oh lord please don't let Cap one or Barclays take AA. My Cap 1 cards do not have a balance they are sitting in a drawer right now but they were my first cards. My Barclays upromise card has my highest limit of all my cards and I use it alot i pray they don't take AA like synchrony did. Considering they are one of the two I maxed out this summer.

You're not alone... I've also got an eight year old Capital One card sitting 'snuggly' between my t-shirts and socks. To make matters worse, my oldest account by three years is none other than Lowe's, which is of course underwritten by our friends at... Synchrony. ![]()
I think you'll be OK from here on out, though... until somebody says otherwise I doubt Capital One will suddenly change their business model overnight. As for Synchrony, let's hope the 'bloodbath' is over, and we've seen the last of their mischief.
