Synchrony Black List

I have Synchrony cards charged off from five years ago from a divorce. Will this prevent approval for Synchrony cards now since the chargeoffs are still on my credit report? I haven't apped yet because I don't want to get a HP if they blacklist for this kind of thing.

No, I reopened all but one of my old Synch cards that COed and I'm at a little under 30k with them.

Re: Synchrony Black List

From what I can tell (and from unfortunate past experience) I can say Synchrony seems to be quite forgiving once enough time has passed, much like Capital One.

As long as your TU (or occasionally EX) score is sufficient I would say you have a good chance with getting back with them.  Smiley Wink
