Re: T-Mobile credit card Here

That's kind of annoying for me in a way.

I'm with Verizon and I like them more than T-Mobile, but Synchrony is cancer and I can't get the Verizon card for no apparent reason (non credit related denials.)

I'm almost tempted to switch just so I can pay my stupid phone bill with a credit card and don't need to give them direct ACH access, but I really don't like T-Mobile.

Now this is out let's see if TMobile switches to the VZ model, that using any other card for one-time payment will remove the autopay discount.

Re: T-Mobile credit card Here

Cool, thanks 911.  For now, I get 4% (real CB) with Smartly.  Our bill for 3 lines (until my 12 year old joins next year, then it will be 4, so I need to figure something out)) is $50/mo out the door.  So, for now, applying for a new card for 50c/mo is probably not worth it for me, personally.

It should be noted, it looks like this 2% / 5% is T-Mo money, not true CB.

[Until I can make a pretty signature, here’s an updated draft]

Everyday 5% CB:
Chase prime Visa // citi CUSTOM CASH “A” // citi CUSTOM CASH “B” // citi SHOP YOUR WAY (5% gas (in points), lucrative spending offers) // mylowe’s Rewards // Target circle card // primis Perks debit Visa (50c CB per transaction (5% CB or more up to $10 spend))

5% CB rotating:
Chase “OG” freedom Visa // DISCOVER it Cash Back // nusenda CU Platinum Cash Rewards

Everyday 4% CB:
US Bank Smartly (v1.0)

Everyday 3% / 2.2% CB:
AOD FCU Visa Signature (3%, sockdrawered) // upgrade Cash Rewards Elite (2.2%, sockdrawered)

Welcome Offer / credits only:
Chase SAPPHIRE PREFFERED (grabbed my $1,000, sockdrawered, will cancel) // NFCU FLAGSHIP REWARDS (elevated Welcome Offer, annual prime credit, sockdrawered)

Hotel card:
Chase IHG ONE REWARDS PREMIER (elevated Welcome Offer, 1 free night/yr)

On my radar:
Langely FCU Signature Cash Back (5% CB monthly selectable cat) // Safe CU Cash Back+ (Quarterly rotating 5% CB cats plus bonus cats) // upgrade MyFive Cash Rewards (5% CB monthly selectable cat) // US Bank Kroger (and family) World Elite Master Card(s) (5% CB Mobile Wallet)

They already did, last week I got the email, if you pre pay before your "ACH" payment from auto-pay bank account using credit card, it does not give the discount. So that work around is gone....this card in auto-pay DOES give the $5 a line auto-pay discount AND gives 2% purchase reward....It is capital 1 (yuck) BUT you can link account with your T-mobile account so you do not have to download Cap1 app or go on thier website....so I got it......

Re: T-Mobile credit card Here

So basically this card sucks. Better to get a 5% cb debit or debit with cellphone insurance. Ugh

Re: T-Mobile credit card Here

I apped and was approved after being pre-approved for $12k for the lowest-available APR of 18.99% V  Smiley Happy

Since it allows you to keep the auto-pay discount, I can save an extra ~$11 per month with this card, based on my monthly phone bill.  Looking forward to receiving the card soon!

I know right? I have 5 lines that's $25 a month AND 2% rewards on top of credit card payment, that I get an extra 30ish days to pay, unlike debit.....and any no annual fee FTF free card is nice to have......

Re: T-Mobile credit card Here

Hmmm.. now I'm curious if they will PC a good-excellent credit quick silver to a T-Mobile visa. I may have to call in a few days if online research or app faq doesn't provide info.

Anyone tried a PC to the T-Mobile Visa yet?
