Target credit card is a joke. No Thanks. Played that game. I told them Sams/wal-mart (right up the street) will give me 26k plus and you can't give me 1k. Thanks but no thanks.

+ trillions and trillions, 😂
As long as you use the card and PIF, you will get auto CLI. It happend for me twice within a year. 300------>1100, 1100----->3100. As others told, don't forget to update your income.
I don't know if this helped or not. But right before I got my first bump. $300 SL now $800 only 6 months old.
I called and and talked to a supervisor. Complained said may close card etc. explained my average shopping cart/trip is well over $300. And I'm not too happy with splitting payments etc. 2 days later login to check bL seen a $500 increase. Good luck tho.
original credit limit $300, can barely leave the store with less than $300. Maxed it, then PIF that month probalby before the statement cut. The next month they bumped me to $800. At Christmas time I called to ask about an increase, because you have to wait to the items to post and then the payment to post an I wanted to buy a dollhouse. I literally make over $200k a year.... NO INCREASE. LMAO. It cracks me up, but my scores are not the best. I continue to PIF and use my card hoping to get an increase. One of the kids I work with that probably makes $40k a year has crappy credit, carries 70% utility on her card and she has a $1300 limit. Funny.

I did somehing similar too. After having the card for about 3/4 months, with a little usage and maxed one time to the last penny, i called and told them that i would like to use the card more, and my last purchase was over $300 (my limit) and i said i was emberassed to ask the cashier to split the payment. The lady took down my information, income and such and told me they don't do instant cli's on request, but i should expect something in the near future, and the next month i was suprised to see that my limit was raised to $800. Now i will use the card for couple more months and will do the same thing again and give and give them a call. Updating the income online alone don't seem to help. I wish all Redcard users agree on a certain future day and send emails on the same day regarding their practice of cli's. Maybe this may draw a little attention and they may consider changin it down the road. This would benefit every one of us. I got approved for Macy's as well on the same day, and 2 months, and only one transaction of $200 Macy's was increased to $2K with a HP, which i am not complaining about.
i think I was shocked and embarrased that it wasn't and still hasn't been increased. I don't think I have had the card a year yet though.....maybe an anniversary gift!
