Re: THE ITCH, IT BURNS!

I cannot cook gumbo; but I make really mean chicken and dumplings and the best pecan pie my 82 year old grandma from natchitoches has ever eaten. Now... I have been way off topic! I'm sowwy don't delete my post shogun! The thing with the stove budget is that you delay gratification which can be so sad but its not the same as saying no you cant ever have it! Just be like hey I'm gonna save 250 per month for 4 months and then buy a stove after Christmas when its on sale. And you will haggle the salesman for the discount of 10% which you "need" not "want" and he might as well give it to you or you'll leave empty handed.

The problem occurs when he calls my tigers "Kitty kats " Other than that he is very sweet and very loving.... even if he does "smoke" bologna and drown it in Bbq sauce during special occassions.

Yes. But the bottom line is I don't want to use my cards like that. I plan on PIF and not carry a balance. The only exception would be if the charge was a "need" and not a "want". I have no desire to repeat past mistakes.

Thanks Shogun.  To members of MyFICO, please do not take my levity as a lack of sincerity.   Im at the stage in my rebuild where its nothing more than sending GW letter after GW letter and either receiving denials or no response.  I use humor to keep me engaged in the process.  The advise I give and receive is taken seriously.  It has be disheartening to not be successful in removing my remaining baddies.  Im in it for the long haul and if I cant get them removed then I am damn sure not going to let the same slipups happen again.

Did I read about Tigers and gumbo?!?!?! My two favorite things! This SE Louisiana native bleeds purple/black and gold!!

On topic.....good for you Duncanrr for exercising self control!!! In April I'm starting the process of building a new home....and these credit card pre-approvals are killing me!

If you can refrain, so can I!! Lol
