Re: TODAYS APPROVALS THANK YOU ALL

Sounds like you have a good plan, with some goals to be looking forward to. I have a couple of friends with tricked out ZX-14's, and they are some awesome machines! Smiley Happy

Just a note about the Kawasaki card - beware the financing terms, and make sure you read the terms and conditions. If you garden your recently acquired cards carefully, you can probably get approved for a bike loan through a credit union.  The Kawasaki card is not really a credit card, it is more like a line of credit with a balloon payment. You buy the bike on the "flexible line of credit" at some low interest rate (like 2.9%) and the payment is low for first couple years. After 2 years, if there is still a balance on the card, the payment adjusts (kind of like and adjustable rate mortgage), and the interest rate goes up to like 16-17% (and the payment with it). Many times, you will end up owing more on the bike than it is worth, with the interest. The rate also goes up to the default rate if you miss a payment.

Make sure you read and understand all terms and conditions for any offer of credit. This one, in particular is not the greatest.

Re: TODAY'S APPROVALS THANK YOU ALL

Thanks for the heads up on the kawasaki card.  Working for a motorcycle dealer before I got injured at work I had allot of experience with the card and other peoples mistakes.  Im waiting for them to offer the 0.9%apr and through a friend at the dealer I worked for "finance manager".  We worked out what my payments would be to have it paid off to 0 balance at the end of 36 months "normally when the balloon payment happens" but thanks though.  ALOTT of people have a big problem with that card because they see $69 a month and dont realize that 95% of it is strictly interest.  expecially on powersport "TOYS".  #1 reason trying to find atv or dirtbike used with a title is almost impossible.
