TU Score increase!

Hi, I just checked my TU score today from myfico, and my score went from 610 to 639! My EX score went from 567 to 577! My Equifax score went from 585 to 604! What I have done so far this month is bring the utilization for 25% to 5%. My Merrill Lynch Card which is $5,000 max has a $0 balance. My BofA Alumni card has a $2,000 max and has a $400 balance. I talked to Capital One and my max is $1250 and has $0 balance. I also did an online dispute with Experian for some baddies on my account. Does anyone know if it will help my score, from being at 25% utilization to 5%? I am really trying to get it down to %1. This forum has truly been a big help! Thank you all!

Re: TU Score increase!

Congrats!  Good Job!

Yes it will help your score to go from 25% to 5%.  I'm not sure that going down to 1% will have any affect though.

Re: TU Score increase!

Keep it between one and nine, and you'll be fine
At the upside of twenty-five, you'll start the downhill slide
Passing sixty, getting risky!
If over eighty you lunge, bye-bye FICO, it will plunge
Over a hundred, you're right maxed out, and as for FICO, it will be a rout.
