Talked to Valero analyst

So I was rejected for their gas card a couple weeks ago, and today decided to call up and see if I could recon.  No go on the recon, but she did tell me what they were looking for.  They are very inquiry sensitive.  She seemed flabbergasted that I had more than three inquiries, even though I told her I was rebuilding.  There is no set time post-bk to be approved.  The like scores in the mid-600s and above, over 700 and they might overlook a few extra inquiries.  She offered some strange advice, which I chalked up to normal CSR ignorance, and thank god I've learned better in myfico or else I might have listened to her.

Re: Talked to Valero analyst

Strange advice? Like what? Oh, btw when I talked to a DCU CSR the person was very nice and well informed. I patiently sat through him talking for about ten minutes of stuff that I already know because I wanted to be polite and not appear like a know it all. When I actually talked to a credit analyst she was much more to the point.

Re: Talked to Valero analyst

I told her I had to fix the judgment that is on my report and she told me not to do anything about it because my bankruptcy might get "updated" and then it would be on my report for "another 7 years".  Obviously does not know what she's talking about.
