0/2 on the phone (that includes that number from the response above when I call earlier in this week)
and
0/1 thru email.
The phone response I've received (twice) is that the account simply could not be found. I think its a real long shot to find an old bill or even an old cc lol to get the real account number.
I would send an additional email request. A different agent will most likely open it.
I tried everything I could think of and the email with the number from my EX is what got it done for me.
Ray
I had included the EX number listed as well as a screenshot link lol
I submitted an email request yesterday to have my backdated to 1990. Got the following response.
Sure!
I have submitted a request to change your membership since date to 1990.
You will receive your new Card in 9 to 12 business days and your account number will not change.
Your new Card may have a different expiration date.
We recommend that you notify any Merchants who automatically bill your account, to provide them with the new expiration date.
You may continue to use your existing Card until you receive the new Card.
It was my pleasure to assist you.
Have a great day!
Just checked my account and it has been updated to reflect the 1990 date.
FYI - I tried calling a few months ago and was told that they couldn't find my account.
alvin - Do you mind PM-ing me with the email address you used? Thanks!
If it is different than using the website portal I'll take it as well please!
Best bet is to use the web portal!
Ray
I used the website, "General Inquiry".
When you try again via the portal:
1. Make sure you include the entire set of numbers from the EX CR.
2. Also include the date of the account shown on the CR.
In my case, I called and spoke with a half a dozen CR's. Got no where. I faxed EX information in along with a letter explaining what I wanted - this was to a fax number that one of the CR's gave me. Again - dead end. Then, on a whim, I just posted this information via email from the portal and BANG - it worked.
Keep trying - you will get what you are looking for!
Ray
Thanks for the feedback! I will give that a whirl.
