I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. That waiting is excruciating I know. I really hope you get it. I wonder if they are indeed tightening the purse strings. My plan for November 2014 may be up in smokes. Come on Amex (March 2014 baby).
So I found the underwriters number and called. They said they did not have a denial on file and that they were waiting on an approval, with the decision being made Monday. So I don't know really what they meant by that, but hopefully I'll get approved for something monday. The lady told me just to call back monday to see what the results were.
I have my fingers crossed for you
Good luck
Thank you guys! Hopefully I will get approved for something. Even a "toy" limit would be great so I could start building my credit files. Just anything that isn't secured would be a small miracle!
what number did you call?

8556043243 why?
I was thinking of just throwing caution to the wind and applying myself so I can put myself out of the 10 month misery (trying to wait for November).

Do it and let me know what you get! At least I would have someone to wait with!
Ok here goes caution to the wind

7-10 days. No surprise there.

Who knows? We may both get approved!
You might, but I will probably not due to a 15 month old paid baddie. If I don't get approved, it's time for me to throw in the towel because November is a long time away and I have other cards that will likely grow beyond what I could potentially get from the Duck card in November (i.e. Amex and USAA).
