So I just received this in my email from my AMEX Gold Card account. The hotel credit (for which I had forgotten about) just went up from $75 to $100. Would these be targeted? Hopfully everyone gets this boost.

For those who have experience with THC from amex, It can be a valuable perk.

I've used it 6 times already on short weekend stays at mid tier resorts.

Credit is being raised to $100 from $75

Total Revolving Limits $254,800

What are the hotel rates like through the Amex hotel portal vs. say the Hilton/Marriott/Agoda sites?

I've found them to be comparable but sometimes on the high side.

You want to make sure booking it as a The Hotel Collection will make sense.
