The Men of VS, aka "Victor/Victoria's Secret Card"

Hello,

So I'm apparently one of the men on here who has a VS card.  I just got it today in the mail.  Yes, it's pink and sparkly.  No, there's not really much at VS for men (although I did like their Platinum cologne a lot...kinda smells like Kenneth Cole Reaction).  Bath & Body Works has many possibilities.

So I'm just curious about the men who have the card.  What kind of limits do you have?  Why did you get it?  How do you use it?

And the ladies of VS are welcome to comment, too.

I love stopping by VS a day or two before Valentine's Day or Xmas Eve. The store is usually loaded with guys buying gifts. It's kinda fun to watch. (I'm a gal.)

I'm a guy with a VS card...got it nearly two years ago...mostly because of the "shopping cart trick."

Did some Christmas shopping there which REALLY hacked off DW...haven't used it since.

It's good for the occassional soft pull CLI tho!

Yeah, I got it through the Shopping Cart trick.  It seems like an easy card to get.  I've seen approvals down to the upper 500s for it.

How often do you request CLI?

It's written by Commenity, so you can ask every four months...I think I've had two yesses and one no.

i got it via shopping cart trick. I had better credit than wife and couldnt get it for her via shopping cart trick so said why not just get it and add her as AU. I got intial CL of $750.

Really? I've heard Commenity was 6 months for the first CLI, and then every 4.

I'm a guy and have this card as well... current CL is $3K.  Used for gifts, BBW, etc., and have had the card back when it was issued by LCS/WFNNB and known as the Limited Fashion Group Tri-card (LFG) where it could be used at BBW, VS and The Limited... eventually converted to VS.

AFAIK, usually any new accounts with EXP, VS, The Buckle, etc., it has to be open for about 9 months before it can be reviewed or manually request for a CLI (YEMV though).  J. Crew and others can usually CLI before the 9 month mark.

Just got approved using the shopping cart trick.

Anyone know how to add this card to Mint.com? It's asking for a username on Mint, but I signed up with an email addy. It won't allow me to put the email addy...which is weird because every other non store card on Mint uses an email addy.
