Hello Everyone,

Have we heard the lastest scoop about this card? I called just now and closed the account, to reflect account closed by consumer on my credit report. I felt kind of bad, since I had this account since 1999.

But, I have had my Jcpenney's account since 1999 as well, and my Target account since 2000. And those are both of my oldest accounts.

Please advise,

I haven't heard anything personally.  I believe the stores here are still open, although they are liquidating their inventory.  I think I will close the account in January, if it hasn't already been closed by the time I go to do it.
