The Unsleigh Center

This is the hideout for escaped and otherwise at large Sleigh Center inmates.

I understand the sentiment behind the Sleigh Center. There is safety in moderation, medication and treatment. If you're jonesing for an app fix, then you might need to get told to step away from the Luv button.

Both meds and apps can be very dangerous if misused. The anticoagulant heparin is one of the oldest drugs still in widespread use. Discovered in 1916, it predates the FDA. However, like many drugs, it is fatal if misused. That said, apps and meds have a valid usage.

If you're a cold blooded credit clinician, apping can be a valid treatment for one's credit situation. "Just Say No" isn't a universal policy for all folks in all situations. Dave Ramseyites can chime in now about the evils of credit and how it's best to live off cash and buy a house on a 3 year mortgage while dining on cat food and walking barefoot 26 miles to and from work each day. You probably wanna live off the grid as well so the black helicopters can't track you.

DW and I currently have about $34K in total CC CL with about $1K in CC debt--about $800 on a 6 months, 0% APR, no payments and no interest CC that will get BTed to a 0% APR CC in November. Once we close on our house, we're probably going to "app up" to help cover some expected needs. Home Depot and Lowes come to mind.

We're also going to try and get a CC or two from one of the FCUs. They are far away some of the most generous with the lowest APRs and highest CLs. Long term I think that is the place to be for CCs, banking, and loans in general.

My name is Noah, and I am NOT an app addict.

Re: The Unsleigh Center

Foe homeowners I strongly suggest HD or Lowes cards - for a new homeowner the 6 month/0% for any purchase over $299  they run regularly  is a godsend. Blinds, paint, some area rugs, etc It also leaves your other cards untouched (new furnace anyone?).

I apped out last week - but I am building a profile and I promse no more apps for at least 6 months (I'm shooting for a year and pushing for CLI then).  If I get offered Amex Plat in the interim I will take it. LOL

We're also moving - I'm thinking Christmas in the new place already.

Congrats to you!

Re: The Unsleigh Center

But seriously, There is a time to app but most who need sleigh are app happy.  I saw a really sad story over the weekend as a result of app happiness.
